The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends MBCT for the prevention of relapse in recurrent depression. Evidence shows that Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy can, on average, reduce the risk of relapse for people who experience recurrent depression by 43%.
