Private Existential Therapy
Existential focuses on free will, self-determination, and the search for meaning.
At its core, existential-based therapy posits that escaping the reality of death is at the root of psychopathology.
IN THE THERAPY ROOM, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "UNSPEAKABLE" OR "SHAMEFUL".

A key premise of existential philosophy is that within certain constraints, human beings have an enormous amount of freedom. Viktor Frankl tells us that, while human beings have certain restrictions, such as the limitations of the brevity of life (mortality), of medical conditions, and of world circumstances, they also have “the freedom to take a stand” within the context of their lives and the ability to find meaning in their lives.
Existential philosophy and existential-based approaches to therapy differ widely. Many approaches, such as Yalom’s and Rollo May’s, focus on the present day. Others, like Robert Stolorow’s, take a psychodynamic approach to existentialism and are developmental in nature, focusing on birth to death–past, present, and future.
